Write about a literacy learning experience you had In order to achieve my dream that I can go aboard to study so that I will broaden the worldview, accumulate the knowledge, foster the independence of study and life, I had to create a best pathway of literary learning to prepare SAT writing and reading. However, as a foreigner, there are three most frustrating problems for us to make the progress------understand every key words, decode and analyze the sentences and grape the main idea effectively.
In the beginning, I just concentrated on the every words in the whole articles or fiction books. Naively, I just believed that the information and the main ideas are conveyed in words so that we will do a good job to bear the whole text if I comprehend every words in the articles. Then I brought the dictionary with me anytime and anywhere and even memorized thousands and thousands of words in a short time. Can I master to read every literature after? Of course not!. Checking out every words in the reading materials not only waste unlimited time which can be avoid, but also just can underneath the surface----conceiving the surface meaning of the sentences.
To the second attempt, I decided to attempt to understand the words or articles in all the aspects but not only the meaning of these materials through reading enough books, acquiring plenty of background information. In this way, pile books I have read brought me not only the increasingly progressive capability of understanding the articles, but also helped me to create the western-world mode of thinking, the foreign-country styles of writing. This is the acquisition learning actually. By the way, the score of my SAT and TOFLE will also proof and reinforce my method correctly. To a nutshell, I have to recognize that I took a tough line to learn the literacy but this experience will be one of the most precious for me during my lifetime.
